Hello friends! It is so very nice to meet you! My name is Challen (pronounced Shal-lyn) Yes, it is a different name! I am a part-time photographer located in the NW corner of Pennsylvania in a small town called Conneaut Lake. I may be from a small town, but I dream BIG! I am a full-time family nurse practitioner in a rural health clinic, a past-time travel ICU nurse, and a clinical instructor for undergraduate students. I have an absolute dream of continuing photography, being a nurse practitioner, and hopefully owning a large farmhouse on land someday while starting up my own doggy-day care. I am a down-right go-getter!
I am a full-time wife to my awesome and amazing husband, Zac. And a dog mom to my two fur-children in this here picture. The skeptical-looking one on the left is Theo. The crazy lunatic one on the right is our Aussie, Oakie. We are absolute animal lovers!! So YES I love when people bring their animals to photo sessions...The more the merrier, right?!
After the pandemic hit, I was experiencing major burnout at the bedside, so I picked up a lens and a camera and found a new PASSION. I absolutely love to capture special moments in the lives of others. That could be events such as birthday parties, bridal showers, and proposals, to other moments such as graduations, senior portraits, engagements, maternity, and family sessions.
